Bishop to Present at 
Rimini Conference
Bishop Caesar Mazzolari will attend the Rimini Conference at the end of August to give a presentation on justice and reconcilliation in Sudan. He will be accompanied by Chuibet County Commissioner Mr. Kongor Deng Kongor, who will participate in a roundtable discusssion on the same topic.
Diocese launches web site
The Diocese of Rumbek has launched its inaugural website. The site, designed to provide information for members of the diocese itself, donors, and supporters, began its testing August 10, 2009, and will continue through August 17th, 2009. Please report any problems via the contact us page.
The initial site is only a basic web presence. In the coming months, the site will be developed into a hub for information, news and resources.
Gold in the Crucible
Re-published as E-book
In 2005, the Diocese of Rumbek published Gold in the Crucible, in celebration of its golden jubilee anniversary of fifty years. The book is now being presented for a limited time as a PDF e-book. It is hoped that the circulation of the book will raise awareness of the incredible history of the diocese and the heroism of its missionaries and martyrs, as well as its more recent educational and pastoral developments. The book will be available on this website by the middle of August.
